Gloria Seeger, Founder and President
Gloria Seeger is an entrepreneur and philanthropist residing in Northern Virginia, who is seeking ways to advance her charity endeavors by using single family homes, which she owns, to the advantage of a major charity. Ms. Seeger has a successful history as a property developer and homebuilder in Virginia, West Virginia and New Jersey since 1984. In the past 24 years, she has developed land and built more than thirty homes either on her own or as a partner with a major corporation such as Toll Brothers or Ryan Homes. In addition to her to commercial business, Ms. Seeger serves as the principal advisor to Dr. John Rock, the Dean of Florida International University. Dr. Rock, and the school, benefits from her advice in charity events, fundraising, and strategic initiatives for the university.
That expertise was developed over eight years while Ms. Seeger worked with the premier Ott Institute in St. Petersburg, Russia. That was Russia’s first In Vitro Fertilization center. She was drawn to that work after a successful five years on various advisory boards dealing with women’s health issues at Johns Hopkins University Hospital and the Union Memorial Hospital, both in Baltimore, Maryland. At Johns Hopkins she was an advisor to Dr. Rock who strived to establish a separate medical center for women. At Union Memorial, Ms. Seeger worked to craft a positive image for the smaller facility in the field of reproductive endocrinology.
Ms. Seeger’s path to entrepreneurial and philanthropic work came after a rewarding fifteen year career as a commercial actress in San Francisco and New York City.
